Great host
Rising Star is truely the first choice in Pushkar if you want to spend a couple of days in peace. We spent 3 nights here and we have been amazed by the quality of the service. The hotel is stylish and the rooms are impeccably clean so you can tell the family are invested in the hotel and want their guests to be comfortable. You will really love the homemade food prepared by the ladies in the family. The rooftop restaurant offers a splendid view and a traveler-friendly atmosphere. They serve their famous "special tea" chilled to your preference, sometimes even frozen, in charming teapots.

The hotel is beautifully decorated with potted plants, wall paintings, ornaments and a large tree growing in the open space in the middle of the hotel which you can see from all floors. The walls are freshly painted and the small touches like the multicoloured lamps are really nice. The rooms are spacious, very clean and with excellent bathrooms with 24hour hot water at a very good price. The food was delicious offering a wide range of choices, excellent muesli and pasta along with Indian dishes. Our hosts at Rising Star that made our stay in Pushkar out of the ordinary. The location is in the center of town close to the lake. Anyone coming to Pushkar should check out this gem.
